Edinburgh
We think the capital of Scotland is one of the most beautiful citys in the world (your finger's going to hurt from all the photos you'll take!). As soon as we arrive at our hostel, our friend Emily from Edinburgh Uni is going to take us out to see all the famous sights - Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Scottish Parliament - and then she's taking us down some mysterious, winding streets to some of her favourite not-so-well-known places. If you're lucky you might even see the vampire bunnies!
Edinburgh Fringe Festival
The 'Fringe' is the world's largest performing arts festival with 31,000 performances of drama, comedy, dance and music every August. The city streets are full of artists entertaining crowds of people all day and all night. You need to pay to see most of the organised shows, but there are also lots excellent free shows - Emily's going to tell us where to find them.
Arthur's Seat
On Sunday morning, we going for a walk up Arthur's Seat. It's a big, extinct volcano at the end of the Royal Mile, next to the Scottish Parliament. It's quite high, and you'll be glad you had your breakfast, but the views across Edinburgh are amazing.
Essa eh pra Nanica:
Emily's taking us to the cafe she works at (where JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter!)
Bom faltam 3 dias e eu estou feliz pacas.
beijocas a todos
